VettoChat ("we," "us," or "our") operates the VettoChat platform, a lead qualification and CRM service for home service contractors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website and services.
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, business name, and password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, billing details (card number, billing address) are collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We never store your full card number.
When visitors interact with your VettoChat widget, we collect the information those visitors provide — such as their name, phone number, service type, and budget. This data belongs to you (the account holder) and is stored on your behalf so it can appear in your CRM dashboard and be delivered to you via SMS.
We collect standard log data including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and feature usage. This is used to operate and improve the service.
We use cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in), preferences, and aggregate analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See Section 6 for details.
We do not sell your data or your leads' data to third parties, ever.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Lead data stored in your CRM dashboard is retained until you delete it or close your account. If you cancel your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (e.g., billing records).

VettoChat is a business tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it immediately.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
